COMMON QUESTIONS

What grades can attend?
The camp is open to athletes currently in Grade 6 through Grade 9. Age doesn't matter β€” as long as your child is in those grades, they're welcome.
Does my child need to play a specific sport?
Not at all. The camp is designed for all athletes regardless of sport. The skills we teach β€” speed, strength, coordination, and athleticism β€” carry over to every sport.
How many kids are in each week?
Each week is capped at 15–20 athletes. We keep groups small on purpose so every athlete gets real coaching and attention. Because spots are limited, we recommend registering early.
Can my child register for multiple weeks?
Absolutely β€” and we encourage it. Each week builds on the last, so athletes who attend multiple weeks will see significantly more development. The four weeks are July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, and July 27–31. Registration is $160 per week.
What should my child bring?
Athletes should bring a snack for the mid-morning break, a water bottle, and wear athletic clothing and running shoes. No equipment needed β€” everything is provided.
Is the weight room safe for my child?
Yes. Before any training begins, every athlete is taught the rules of the weight room β€” how to use equipment safely, respect the space, and conduct themselves properly. Safety and proper form always come first, and coaches supervise closely throughout.
What happens if it rains?
Rain doesn't stop us. Camp moves indoors to the gymnasiums at Algonquin High School, and the full program continues as planned.
Where exactly is camp held?
Camp is held at Algonquin High School in North Bay, Ontario β€” on the field when weather permits and in the gymnasiums when needed.
When should I drop my child off?
Drop-off is between 8:30 and 8:45 AM so athletes are ready for a 9:00 AM start. Pick-up is at 11:30 AM when the session wraps up.
Is there a waiver to sign?
Yes. A parent or guardian will be asked to read and sign a physical liability waiver in person on the first day of camp, before their athlete participates. Please arrive a few minutes early on Day 1 to complete it.
How do I register?
Call or text us at (705) 825-0013 or email baldasaro@icloud.com to reserve your spot. When you reach out, please include your athlete's name, grade, and the week(s) you'd like. Payment of $160 per week is accepted by cash or e-transfer. A liability waiver will be provided to sign in person on the first day of camp before participation.
